This thangka is part of our temple's sale. It has been part of many of Khentrul Rinpoche's empowerment ceremonies. From time to time we make these blessed objects available to the community if the Thangka has been replaced with a hand painted or larger version in the same location. This way a practioners has a chance to use the blessed object at home or in their temple. This one was use in Bodh Gaya for the Kalachakra Empowerment as well as in Puerto Rico.

The unchanging or immutable cycles of time are represented by the Kalachakra deity in union with his consort Vishvamatha. While the masculine aspect represents the mind of immutable bliss, the feminine aspect represents the sublime empty form. These two are in fact of one essence, representing our own absolute nature. This thangka was commissioned by Khentrul Rinpoche to be painted exactly according to the Kalachakra tantra texts. The accuracy and level of detail in this version are extremely beneficial and important for serious practitioners.
Reproduced on high quality silk, these thangkas look beautiful when displayed and are also easy to roll for travel.
