Refunds and Returns Policy
Cancellation, Rescheduling or Refusal by Dzokden
Dzoken reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances. If Dzokden cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. If Dzokden reschedules an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer their registration to the same event at the new date. Dzokden also reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations. If Dzokden refuses or cancels a registration, registrants will be offered a full refund.
Cancellation by Participant
Due to the variety of events produced by Dzokden, cancellation policies vary. Most of our partners offer the same full refund policy that we do before an event. If no cancellation policy is specified on the event description page, the registrant may request a full refund, if notice of the cancellation is received via email to email@example.com prior to the date of the event. The refund will be provided by the host of the event. Processing times vary for the refunds. The amount will be credited to your account in the manner in which you paid it.
Dzokden Learning Center Online Registrations
Online Course Cancellation by Participant
Registrants may request a refund for any standalone online course by sending a request to firstname.lastname@example.org within the late registration period noted on the course description page (7 days after the start of the course or your start enrollment date for a self-study course). After this period has ended, no refunds or transfers are provided for online courses.
Online Store Purchases
Online store purchases may be returned within 30 calendar days of the date they are received. To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in the condition they were received and not listed in the non-returnable purchases list below. They need to have their in the original packaging. Returned items must include a receipt or other proof of purchase. You are responsible for paying return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
We do not offer returns or refunds on the following:
- downloaded material such as ebooks or audio files
- customized or on demand products such as clothing or thangkas with brocade
- donations / charitable contributions
This does not affect your right to return incorrect or damaged goods - see below.
Incorrect or Damaged Goods
If the goods delivered to you do not include all of the items that you ordered, if items you ordered are missing from your order, or if we shipped damaged items, you may return such goods to us. You need to contact us by email within 30 days from the date of delivery. All such returns must be made in their original condition with a brief explanation of the fault or damage. We can only accept the return of goods if they are faulty or damaged.
Upon receipt of the goods in question, and following an examination of them, we will credit you with an appropriate refund.
In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.
We reserve the right to replace incorrect or damaged goods, rather than refund your payment.
When we receive your item, we will notify you on the status of your return. If your return is approved, we will refund your credit card or the original method of payment. How quickly you receive a credit to your account will depend on your card issuer’s policies.
Shipping and Customs Fees
The purchaser is responsible for all the customs fees of your local country. If you purchase USPS you recognize that there is no tracking for the package from USPS once the package enters your country. You must take the effort to receive you package. If your package is shipped by a courier service such as UPS or DHL it is your responsibility to ensure the courier is able to deliver the package to you.
