Online Store Purchases

Returns

Online store purchases may be returned within 30 calendar days of the date they are received. To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in the condition they were received and not listed in the non-returnable purchases list below. They need to have their in the original packaging. Returned items must include a receipt or other proof of purchase. You are responsible for paying return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Non-Returnable Purchases

We do not offer returns or refunds on the following:

  • downloaded material such as ebooks or audio files
  • customized or on demand products such as clothing or thangkas with brocade
  • donations / charitable contributions

This does not affect your right to return incorrect or damaged goods - see below.

Incorrect or Damaged Goods

If the goods delivered to you do not include all of the items that you ordered, if items you ordered are missing from your order, or if we shipped damaged items, you may return such goods to us. You need to contact us by email within 30 days from the date of delivery. All such returns must be made in their original condition with a brief explanation of the fault or damage. We can only accept the return of goods if they are faulty or damaged.

Upon receipt of the goods in question, and following an examination of them, we will credit you with an appropriate refund.

In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.

We reserve the right to replace incorrect or damaged goods, rather than refund your payment.

Refunds
When we receive your item, we will notify you on the status of your return. If your return is approved, we will refund your credit card or the original method of payment. How quickly you receive a credit to your account will depend on your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping and Customs Fees
The purchaser is responsible for all the customs fees of your local country. If you purchase USPS you recognize that there is no tracking for the package from USPS once the package enters your country. You must take the effort to receive you package. If your package is shipped by a courier service such as UPS or DHL it is your responsibility to ensure the courier is able to deliver the package to you. 


Events and Online Learning Courses

Dzokden reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. If Dzokden cancels a program, you will receive a full refund. Some programs may have special cancellation policies; see individual course/program descriptions. 

Unless otherwise stated within course/program descriptions:

Refunds Eligibility:

1. In-Person Courses and Retreats

Refund is offered (full purchase amount minus a 10% administration fee) from the date of booking up until 30 days before the scheduled event.  If you cancel after 30 days and within 7 days a 50% refund will be provided.  There is no refund for cancellations less than 7 days before a scheduled event.

2. In-Person Accommodations

You will be offered a partial refund (full purchase amount minus a 10% administration fee) from the date of booking up until 30 days prior to check in. If you cancel after 30 days and within 7 days a 50% refund will be provided.  There is no refund for cancellations less than 7 days before a scheduled event.

3. Online Events

Refund is offered (full purchase amount minus 10% administration fee) if cancellation is made 5 days prior to the online event start date. If you cancel less than 5 days but before 48 hours of the scheduled event a partial refund of 50% is offered. There is no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours of the scheduled event.

4. Online Courses

Refunds for online courses will be considered within 7 days from the date of enrollment, provided the participant has not accessed more than one course lesson beyond the course introduction. There is no refund for cancellations over 7 days from the date of enrollment or if the participant has accessed more than one course lesson beyond the course introduction.

2. Refund Process:

2.1 To request a refund, participants must submit a written request via email to help@dzokden.org stating the reason for the refund and providing relevant details such as the course/retreat name, enrollment date, and any supporting documentation.

2.2 Refunds will be processed within 6 weeks from the date the request is approved. The refunded amount will be issued using the original payment method or an alternative method agreed upon.

3. Non-Refundable Items:

3.1 Certain fees, such as processing fees or non-refundable deposits for retreats, are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

4. Exceptions:

4.1 In exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unforeseen events, Dzokden reserves the right to review and consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
